The Congolese Lingala star Awilo Longomba, has been confirmed among other stars to grace the convention in the United Kingdom.
People born in the 1980s and early 90s are surely familiar with the music of this legend in the Lingala genre.
Our UK informant confirms that the excitement among our countrymen on a stint in the UK is great as the Convention is flying in with one of the most popular Congolese musicians of their time.
Awilo Longomba is a Congolese musician who was a drummer in Viva la Musica, Stukas, Nouvelle Generation and Loketo.
In 1995, he finally quit drumming for singing and released his first album Moto Pamba.
One of the legendary artistes to delight fans is celebrated Ghanaian Artist Atumpan “the Thing”.
Buganda is one of the sponsors and exhibitors of the premier event and a team is already in London led by Mr. Kyewalabye-Male David, CEO/Buganda Land Board.
