The Association of Uganda Tour Operators (AUTO) has celebrated 20 years of existence. The association was started in 1995 with less than 25 members and has now grown to more than 160 members in the last 20 years.
The AUTO 20th anniversary party was held on Thursday evening at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel bringing together all the distinguished members of the tourism industry with the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, Hon. Maria Mutagamba as the guest of honour.
“In line with this year’s celebrations theme of professionalizing the sector, I would like to wish you luck in your endeavors and pledge to give you the necessary support,” said Hon. Maria Mutagamba.
