By Ian Nkera Ford Impunity at its extreme and an act of cowardice are some of the terms to paint a rather disheartening picture of events transpiring in Kenya at the Westgate mall. With death tolls rising to 69 by time of writing and several people injured, the Al Shabab can only be ashamed of robbing lives of many innocent people and again casting the evils of the Islamist extremists in the spotlight. The mood is somber in Kenya as condolences fly in for the many lives lost and as many hostages stare death in the face but the one…

Our weekdays are treated to some rib cracking from groups like Laftaz Comedy, The Crackers and pioneers Fun Factory. Such has been the rise of comedy in Uganda. Daniel Omara is one of the talents that our eyes have been accustomed to on TV and on stage and his talent is undisputed so seeing him named as one of the top comedians in Africa was exciting. [showmyads] The comedian-cum-actor made…

He later became a successful businessman with a radio station of his own 88.5 Super fm and he has never looked back. By Ian Nkera Ford Call it fate or luck but our celebrated singers Cindy and Peter Miles narrowly escaped the Westgate mall terrorist siege on Saturday in Nairobi. The magnitude of the siege can only be reflected in the 69 people lying lifeless and the very many people injured. The mere mention of Cindy and Peter Miles being embroiled in this circus is scary. The two dancehall artistes had been in Nairobi to perform at the German based beer festival October fest which was launched on Saturday. Cindy in particular had been calling out to fans for many days to…
