This Friday afternoon, all roads lead to Kakindu stadium in Jinja where Bul FC will entertain Kajjansi based side Lweza FC as the quest for a first victory continues for both teams in the 2015-16 Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
It has generally been an unpleasant and troublesome start to the season for both sides. Lweza had their first two games postponed earlier on as the season kicked off while Bul fc suffered a 1-0 defeat against URA in their new campaign opener.
The story wasn’t any different when the Jinja based side faced off with Sports Club Victoria University on match day two before sharing the spoils with the reigning champions Vipers SC in a goalless draw.
Head coach Isabirye and his side will pick inspiration from their last draw to get things moving before frustration gets the best of them. Milton Kaliisa who was recently summoned to the national team will lead the attack while former Villa star Augustine Nsumba will supplement through the attacking midfield.
Meanwhile, Lweza have suffered three defeats in a row with the first being a 4-0 loss to Soana, then 2-1 to Express FC in the Wankulukuku derby before a controversial 1-0 home defeat against SC Villa on Tuesday.
Without goalkeeper Abubaker Yunus and left back Nestroy Kizito who sustained red cards in their last game, Lweza Coach Joseph Mutyaba will have to tighten his shoes as they travel to Jinja to face his former employers.
Bul fc are in 14th place with just a point from 3 games while Lweza are bottom of the 16-team log without a point.
