Neymar grabbed an exquisite goal as Barcelona came from behind to secure a 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at Camp Nou on Tuesday night.
Diego put Atletico Madrid in the driving seat after 56 minutes with a stunning strike, but his Brazilian compatriot Neymar came up with the goods for Barcelona to ensure the sides go into the second-leg in the Spanish capital on equal terms.
The Chelsea loanee goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois held firm making three dramatic saves from Sergio Busquets, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi as Barcelona did not find a winner against Diego Simeone’s side.
The Rojiblancos will still have the advantage of an away goal in that fixture, but the tie remains nicely poised after the first encounter.
