By the time you read this, Anne’s traditional marriage ceremony, kuhingira is ongoing in her parents’ home in Kabale.
The BEFFTA award nominee’s hilarious jokes have forced men to day dream of marrying and enjoy free comedy shows amongst whom was a Kenyan artiste who wrote an infamous love letter begging her to love him.
Anne’s story is that of the village belle who came to the city and conquered. She revealed to the press that she first came to Kampala when admitted at The Ivory tower for her degree.
The city gave her name, a lover, fame and fortune.
We congratulate the funny Mukiga from Kabale upon this momentous lifetime achievement.
