Veteran comedian Amooti Omubalanguzi is gearing up for a milestone event as he celebrates 25 years in the comedy industry. The event, scheduled for December 13th at UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo, has sparked reactions from fans who believe he should have chosen a bigger venue for such a significant occasion.
Many of his followers suggested larger venues like Kololo Airstrip or Lugogo Cricket Oval, questioning why he opted for a smaller location.
Responding to the concerns, Amooti explained that the venue choice was influenced by the promoter who purchased the show.

He revealed that the promoter’s budget could only accommodate the UMA Show Grounds at the moment.
While Amooti acknowledged the calls for a grander celebration, he remains hopeful about hosting a mega event at Namboole Stadium in the future.
He says that although it hasn’t been possible yet, he continues to dream of holding an even bigger show someday.
