American gospel singer and worship leader, Don Moen is coming to Kampala, it has been announced. Don Moen will headline the Kampala Praise Fest which is slated to take place on Friday, 8th February this year at Kololo Airstrip. This was revealed during a press briefing held at Mestil Hotel on Tuesday morning.
Organised by RG consulting in partnership with Balaam Marketing, Kampala Praise Fest is a thanksgiving, praise and worship event aimed at ministering the gospel through music.
While addressing media, Isaac Rucci, the project manager for this edition from RG consulting said that Don Moen is set and very excited to come back to Kampala to praise and worship with Ugandans. He also revealed that the festival will be an annual gospel event and they will continue to line up the world’s biggest gospel acts in the following editions.
Famous for songs like Our Father, Hallelujah to the Lamb, God Will Make a Way, and He Never Sleeps among others, Don Moen will perform alongside Uganda’s top gospel artistes like Pastor Wilson Bugembe, Levixone, Exodus, Brian Lubega, and Sandra Suubi among others.
This will be the second time he is coming to Uganda. He first performed in Uganda in 2014 holding a series of shows including one at the Kampala Serena Hotel that was graced by the First lady Janet Museveni.
Early bird tickets to the show will cost 25K(ordinary), 80K(VIP) and 3M (Table).
