Comedian Alex Muhangi recently signed a deal to host a new comedy show dubbed “Comedy Store” that will take place every week at Diners Lounge in Bukoto. The new deal will see him paid 7 million every week to make the show happen.
“Diners created a budget and contacted me to create a weekly comedy product and host the show every Thursday, so we agreed show production would cost about 6-7Million a week. They’re up to it, and I am ready to serve my contract. I can’t wait to see this new baby through, it’s going to be a great platform for every comedian in East Africa to showcase their talents,” says Alex Muhangi.
The debut show is slated for Thursday, 5th May and it features Uganda’s biggest comedy shots – Mariachi, Salvado, Omara, Madrat & Chiko and the weekly host Alex Muhangi.
Alex further cleared the air saying that he will still be performing at Laftaz Comedy Lounge and insists he will always be there because the Centenary Park Show needs him once a month.
