After three months, Airtel Uganda has today concluded the exciting ‘Beera Millionaire with Airtel Money’ promotion.
Launched in December 2018, the promotion has changed the lives of over 400 Ugandans through employment opportunities, tuition, medical care and entrepreneurship.
“At Airtel Uganda, we believe in growing with our customers. Beera Millionaire has been a country-wide campaign with beneficiaries from all socio-economic classes regardless of the amount of transaction receiving cash prizes of Shs1 million, Shs10 Million and motorcycles respectively,” commented Airtel Uganda Managing Director V.G. Somasekhar at the promotion finale.
“We have rewarded over Shs400 million to our lucky customers. I encourage all the winners to use this money to improve their lives and create a positive impact on their communities.”
In this promotion, upon transacting, all customers and agent numbers were being loaded into a randomizer to pick the lucky winners with five lucky customers winning 1 million shillings each (Shs5 million daily, Shs1 million for each) and 1 lucky customer winning Shs10 million in the weekly grand draws. Additionally, 1 lucky agent won Shs1 million daily and 1 motorbike in the weekly draw.
Selection of the Beera Millionaire winners was concluded on Saturday March 16, 2019. Today was the final draw and reward ceremony.
