SafeBoda, a ride-hailing platform, has announced a new promotion in which their users will significantly cut their transport expenses when they ride cashless.

The new campaign which is aimed at driving the cashless economy will see customers enjoy a 50% discount on every ride taken when they pay via the cashless option on the app.

To enjoy the promotional offer, users will first have to top up money onto their SafeBoda account using mobile money. It is then from this account that their transport fare will be automatically deducted.

To top up, simply open your SafeBoda app, tap payment, tap top up SafeBoda account and it will automatically link to your MTN or Airtel money account. Enter your pin to approve.

The promotion which was launched on Monday this week will run for one month.
