Airtel Uganda has launched exciting data and voice bundles aimed at supporting the Muslim community during this holy month of Ramadhan.

While addressing the media at the Airtel Uganda head offices in Nakasero, Ms. Joweria Nabakka Zziwa, Head of Data, Devices and New Product Development at Airtel Uganda said the bundles are intended to support Muslims during this time of spiritual reflection and self-improvement.

“Ramadhan is a season of heightened devotion and worship, where Muslims are expected to put more effort into following the teachings of Islam. Because Ramadhan involves the family, friends and community, voice bundles come in handy to promote communication at a personal level allowing everyone the opportunity to seek encouragement from his kin,” remarked Nabakka.

“To be able to do this especially in the digital era, it is essential that they have access to information, access to the teachings of Islam in a multimedia form and accessible across all platforms, hence the need for data bundles. Data bundles are also used to share family moments like pictures and short videos among other things.”

The voice and data bundles are available effective today, 13th April, 2021 until 14th May, 2021 and can be purchased at any time of the day. They are accessible from 10.00pm to 7.00am daily.

“We value our customers and in this opportune period, we would like to extend customized products to the Muslims during this holy period, that means more MBs and more voice bundles at unbeatably affordable rates daily,” Nabakka concluded.
