Ugandan singer, songwriter, and performer AfriKane is continuing to carve out his space in the country’s music industry with the release of his latest single, “KOLE,” a vibrant Kompa collaboration featuring Congolese French speaking artist Tshim.
AfriKane, an independent artist known for his versatility and artistic vision, has built his musical journey around creating authentic music that connects with Ugandan audiences while exploring sounds beyond the traditional boundaries of the local industry.
Earlier this year, in May, he released his EP Sincerely AfriKane, a project that offered listeners an intimate look into his creative journey and reaffirmed his commitment to building his career from home.
The singer says the support, energy, and love of the Ugandan community remain central to his definition of success as an independent artist.
His latest release, “KOLE,” builds on the momentum of the EP, bringing together AfriKane’s Ugandan identity and Tshim’s Congolese influence over a lively Kompa inspired production.
The song is now available on major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, and Audiomack, among others.
The official music video is also out, directed and shot by Bash OG Productions, one of Uganda’s prominent music video production teams.
