A girl by the name Abigael who went missing for a long time finally gets back home. She is 30years of age now. She disappeared while she was 16years of age and all the attempts of getting where she was were unsuccessful. This happened to Abigael while she was in form three, when she had just arrived from school and was sent by her mother to help her fetch water for domestic use at around 06:40pm. Her mother waited for her daughter to come back from river for more than thirty minutes. Her mother got worried on what had happened to her daughter.
“When I was on my way getting home after fetching water, two gigantic men abducted me and covered mouth by use of a piece of cloth, where I was unable to scream due to lack of enough oxygen. I was unconscious and suddenly I found myself in a container together with some other guys that I didn’t recognized since there were new and unfamiliar faces. I found myself in a different environment away from home, I worked as a slave in there, “Abigael explained her emotional journey to her mother who sympathized with her.
“My owners used to mistreat me as I was required to work for long hours without sleep. A week before you rescued me, I overheard them planning to harvest my organs to sell to a Chinese buyer. I was always afraid that they could kill me at any moment, “she continued telling her mother. Her mother had lost hope for having missed her daughter for many years, she went to an extent of burying a banana stamp since she assumed maybe her daughter had died. One day, she saw an online blog the story of a missing child who was found using a native doctor’s powers, she decided to give it a try. She contacted Dr. Mugwenu who was a native doctor mentioned in the blog.
Surprisingly Dr.Mugwenu informed her that her daughter was still alive, she couldn’t believe it and she cried tears of joy. Dr. Mugwenu gave her the exact location which was a residential estate in Eastleigh in Nairobi. Abigaels mother called her husband and two uncles and travelled to Nairobi. They found Abigael at the exact location provided by Dr.Mugwenu. She was living in deplorable condition, she was slim and unhealthy and had signs and symptoms of depression. Her mother rejoiced and later called the police officers to arrest her slavers. “I’m glad to Dr.Mugwenu for rescuing me from the jaws of death. I don’t know what could have happened were it not for his intervention. I will always be grateful for him and would like to ask anyone with a missing child, relatives or friend to seek Dr. Mugwenu for their quick finding “.
