Bebe Cool emerged victor over D’Banj in a show billed as “Battle of Africa” bringing together some of the most sought after performers from the regions of the continent on one stage.
The victory was not about Bebe’s commanding presence but rather settled by Zimbabwean bevy of party freaks.
In D’Banj’s first press statement, the Mr. Endowed praised the “endowment” of the girls like all visiting international acts do, attracting unfair advantage. He kept to his observation throughout his press interviews while Bebe roared perhaps aware of the task at hand, and expectations back home.
When Kokomaster got on stage, he had 4 queen dancers, stealing his limelight as he remained in shadows. According to a Zim website, they knew only two or three of his songs. “He seemed more concerned about `kokolets’ than putting a crowd pulling performance,” the source revealed.
He had over 15 women joining him on the stage from the crowd and VIP as the crowd jawed and crowned Bebe.
