NTV’s Faraidah Nakazibwe is celebrating her 26th birthday today. The flamboyant TV presenter who is adored by her fans is excited to have made it to this day.
She said; “God is good and real….He has brought me this far…and on this my birthday, I continue to pray for PEACE. I thank all of you who have believed in me.”
Faridah was born in the then Greater Masaka and grew up in Masaka till her family were cut off and pushed to Sembabule. However, in her S4 vacation, they moved back to Masaka town.
She first attended Kisozi Boarding primary school and then moved to Bwala primary school. She moved from Kisozi to Bwala because the President bought off Kisozi. She then completed primary school at Bwala after which she moved to Taibah High School in Kawempe.
“I studied Luganda for only four terms. At HSC, I wasn’t good at one of my subjects and so I opted to study Luganda. I picked up so fast,” she says.
Nakazibwe then went to Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) in Mbale where she studied a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication. Faridah currently works at NTV.
She enjoys traditional foods hence her good looks. Her favourite music is slow music by the likes of Celine Dion, Mariah and the Brandys. She also likes Iryn Namubiru, Juliana and Rema.
