Former jail bird and upcoming musician, Shanita Namuyimba, also known as Bad Black has changed her name. The Mud Guard singer revealed to us that her stage name has now changed from Bad Black, to Black Mermaid aka Queen Mermaid.
“I don’t want to be called Bad Black again. I have changed and I evolve with new things. You can call me Black Mermaid or Queen Mermaid. Every year I bring something new for my fans and this year I have a new name,” she said.
Black has so far released two songs from the time she left jail. We hope for more music under her new name Black Mermaid.
