At least we could see the statement on her face. While performing at the Geisha re-branding gala at Sheraton, the pain was bare, written all over her face and performing her mind blowing emotion filled love ballads made it clearer as she struggled to keep the pace which the tempo of the song set.
Her powerful command on the stage was amiss but Iryn is a great crowd reader. She called them to stand and join her but the rather corporate crowd slumped deeper in their seats.
Reaching for Maggie Kigozi’s hand and taking her to the stage was a real saviour. Others joined and her smile flared up.
The Tebiba Bingi singer has had a rather rocky year so far and trusting her strength to overcome. The moderate turn up at her concert and other factors still linger on vividly in her expressions.
We hope she summons the superwoman in her and sails through.
