Singer Bobi Wine has extended an arm of charity to the Save Carol Charity Car wash this weekend. The widely popular “Dembe” singer will join the public as a chief car washer in a bid to raise funds. He announced his intentions on Facebook.

Save Carol, is a campaign to raise Ugx 270M to treat Carol Atuhirwe, a 25-year-old lady that has been battling cancer for the last five years. All proceeds will go to the pool of money for treatment costs in USA.
This comes at a time when the cancer unit at Mulago referral is in a crisis following the breakdown of the country’s only radio therapy machine for cancer patients.
Well wishers are welcome for this noble cause to be a success.
