We are tired of pretending that we believe you, so either you need to get creative with your excuses or simply come clean with the truth. And to all girlfriends, we feel you. 1. Oh, I forgot.
After being reminded about the date at least a million times? Really? *bangs head on wall*
2. I got busy with some really important work.
Which usually is playing games on your PlayStation. So childish and annoying!
3. I got to go, it’s mom’s birthday.
Come on! It can’t be your mom’s birthday every week of every month. So stop playing that card.
4. There is very low reception here. No 3G, baby.
Oh, so that’s your excuse for not replying for the last two days? Seriously!
5. My phone was with a friend, I swear.
What a sorry this excuse for being on Tinder! Get a life! *punches his face*
6. I am really tired. Need to sleep. Can we talk later?
Just say it already, you’ve got plans with your boys and you don’t want to miss out on the fun. Otherwise sleeping at 10 PM just isn’t your thing.
7. There was a hell of a lot of traffic.
This is the eternal excuse for being late on every single date. Just how hard is it to leave home a bit early?
8. She is a friend’s friend and I don’t even know her.
That’s your excuse for WhatsApp messaging her at 2 AM? A little more creativity would be helpful.
9. I have a family function to attend.
From when did you start doing ‘family stuff’, sweetheart?
10. I am not hungry right now.
So you are meeting your friends after you are done with me, I get it.
11. Some really urgent work came up.
