Kampala City Council Authority (KCCA) through its management has lined up over thirty artistes and musicians to perform at the Kampala Festival celebrations scheduled for October. The artistes will include Bobi Wine of Firebase crew, the Goodlyfe Crew of Radio and Weasel, Ragga Dee, Jackie Chandiru, Lillian Mbabazi, Coco Finger, Mesarch Ssemakula and Pastor Bugembe among other top city artistes.
At the launch of the music fete, The Executive Director of KCCA, Jennifer Musisi noted that music is instrumental in bringing societies together and therefore called upon all city dwellers to attend the festival.
Musisi said, “come and celebrate what the city has to offer because music is among the best in Africa so we need to appreciate and showcase it during the Festival.”
The Kampala City Festival will have a variety of events and activities ranging from business, fashion, art and culture, entertainment, technology and industry all lined up for showcasing.
