Musician Bobi Wine has today released the highly awaited song that will welcome the Pope titled “Welcome Pope Francis”. The song comes ahead of the Pope’s visit slated for the weekend of 27th to 29th November, 2015.
Bobi Wine teamed up with The Rubaga Cathedral Choir on “Welcome Pope Francis”, which is the official song for the Pope’s visit in Uganda.
Bobi says the objective of the song is to sensitize the public about the Pope’s visit in addition to helping Christians prepare themselves spiritually for the papal visit.
The song was commissioned by Vision Group as part of their continuous efforts to prepare for the holy visit.
It was produced by Tonny Houls & Silver Kyagulanyi.
