Heard of the only festival in Sub-Saharan Africa that attracts over 50,000 people every year? Well, you guessed right, it’s the Bayimba International Festival that is taking place this September. Here are 10 reasons you shouldn’t miss out:

1. In the recent days, Salsa dance has become one of the most admired dance disciplines that every hippy, hoppy, gent and a few ladies would love to learn to dance around Kampala… and, Sam Ibanda has been one of those trainers that loves to share his skills in Salsa dance. So, he now brings it to Bayimba Festival. For two days – Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd Sept. Sam will be teaching Salsa to beginners at the Dance floor.

2. The Gifted Herbert Kinobe will be making an appearance. Kinobe is a gifted Ugandan multi-instrumentalist known for his inspired synthesis of African roots and global fusion. He is dedicated to bringing love and joy to people through his music and contributing to building healthier lives and communities for children and families everywhere.

3. Coco Finger will perform and he promises to unveil new moves that are going to take Kampala by storm, and guess what, he will be performing LUO songs since he’s the Luo ambassador at the festival.

4. Bobi Wine, the new Ugandan International artiste will be giving his best from the Africa-Jamaica connect, another reason you shouldn’t miss. He has vowed to beat Bebe Cool’s performance of last year.

5. The silent disco is back, if you want to know what a silent disco means, plan to make it to the Bayimba Festival.

6. Break dance project Uganda will unveil some of the best moves to have ever been witnessed in the century. Come witness nerve-wracking head-spins and suicidal break dance moves.

7. Best Ugandan movies are showing at the festival this time round, Ugawood is something worth noticing.
