Even if Uganda failed to make it to the next play offs of the World-Cup qualifiers, we still get to go to Brazil in another way, that’s musically.
The famous Maria Bragança Quartet will unveil a string of music that builds a bridge between Latin America, Africa and Europe – Katharina Guzvic, Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung 2000.
The saxophonist Maria Bragança and her new Brazilian Music Band play a kind of the worlds which surprisingly shows in a fascinating way affinities and connections between Brazil, Africa and Baroque Music.
Her ensemble Chorando Jazz gives a new understanding of Brazilian Music. The musical Program includes components like Pixinguinha Folks melodies, Hermeto Pascal and own Compositions.
Maria Braganca Quarteto (Chorando Jazz) is sponsored by the Secretary of Culture of Minas Gerais in Brazil, Fiat Productions and Art buying Ltd.
If you missed World Cup, at least don’t miss getting to Brazil through well-played music.
