Bobi Wine and his entire management team have rubbished and turned down event organizers of the Red Carpet Awards in South Africa where the singer was being advertised as the headlining act.

Through Facebook, he issued a statement denying being invited for these awards and he urged his fans not to be duped into attending because he will not be there.

He said: “This is to inform my fan base In South Africa that neither me nor my management team was contacted about Red Carpet Awards in South Africa. Am therefore NOT going to attend the “awards” and as my legal team in South Africa carries out their duty of finding and bringing to justice the organiser of that event, please don’t be duped of your money. Am not coming down to you in October!!”
