KCCA FC

By James Robert Kayindi

With the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) set to return today, the tie between 10-time champions, Kampala Capital City Authority FC and newly promoted side, Jinja Muncipal Council Hippos has been postponed.

Though no explanation has been given for the postponement of the game, we understand that the Kasasiro boys are without three of their star players. The players are; Joseph Ochaya, Ivan Ntege and Muzamiru Mutyaba who are all part on the Cranes side that traveled to Comoros for that 2017 AFCON qualifiers clash that was played over the weekend.

However the KCCA will have a friendly match against Enkima FC on Wednesday.

“We had played a lot of games so the rest will refresh us. We will continue to have trial games like the Wednesday friendly we have lined up against Enkima FC,” Ssimbwa said in post to the club’s official Facebook page.
