Express - Kcca

By James Robert Kayindi

The Azam Uganda Premier League returns today with seven games to be played on match day four of the new campaign.

At the Muteesa II Royal Stadium, it will be the Wankulukuku derby when Lweza fc entertain Express FC.

Express fc have had a strong start to the new season after drawing 0-0 to Police fc and 1-1 to KCCA and pipping Maroons by 3-2 before the League took a week long break.

The same can’t however be said of Lweza fc who have a had a troubling start to the season with two of their opening fixtures being postponed before being thrashed 4-0 by Soana fc at Kavumba.

Newly promoted side Maroons will be at home in Luzira to host Jinja base side Sadolin Paints in a search for their first point of the season and possibly a first win.

The Uganda Prisons’ side gave away a 1-0 lead when they visited Express fc in their first game at Wankulukuku stadium which they lost 3-2.

Another new side, The Saints will be on the road to Kavumba Recreational Stadium in Wakiso to take on Police fc.
The Saints are still pointless after two opening games in which they lost 3-0 to Vipers and 1-0 to KCCA.

Meanwhile, Police have managed to collect 5points in their first three games with the last result being a 1-0 win over Simba fc.

At the Mehta Stadium in Lugazi, Uganda Revenue Authority fc will host Soana fc while Bright Stars will entertain army side Simba Sports Club at the Mwerere stadium in Matugga.
