The NTV News Anchor and Capital FM am-pm radio presenter shared something about believing in oneself on day 10. To the one time Big Brother Africa show host, believing in yourself is a valid lesson. Below is what she said.
Day 10: Believe in yourself
“In one of my business ventures I came to learn a valid lesson. I started the business with a well thought out idea, I knew exactly what I wanted it to turn out, well at least I thought so.”
“Then I shared the idea with close friends and family. Everyone gave their notes. I was such a coward, I thought maybe they are right and I kept changing the context of the idea so much that in the end i failed. Listen, its okay when people advise you, and sometimes they want the best for you, but do you realize they could be wrong?”
“The solution to not failing with the bandwagon I find is to first and foremost believe in yourself. Wrong or right believe in yourself.”
What a lesson!
