Musician Bebe Cool has turned down a Public Relations offer. The offer was made by a top and respected Public Relations practitioner in Kampala called Sheila who works with Zuku TV.
Sheila approached Bebe Cool’s team according to our sources with a plan to help him get positive PR and cool down on the negative sentiments surrounding the singer. The singer was quick to rubbish the plan saying that he is a big brand who can manage his own affairs. Sheila insisted and took the matter to Facebook where she posted, “Hi Bebe Cool, help us to help you.”
Comments bombarding her came from all corners on the social networking giant.
“He doesn’t have a cause Sheila. Why can’t people just go do some other sh*t that’s productive. The chap flew first class, paid a 15,000 dollar deposit on a new video and got back ready to do other gigs and get paid for them and here people are busy talking about his cause. Go look for dimes elsewhere,” said James.
“Bebe Cool can’t be saved by mere mortals. Not with Masembe’s brand of sarcasm. We can surely ignore all his verbal gymnastics and just listen to his Go Mama album. Go to Amazon and buy it. He says stupid things alot, but makes some good music too. I’m not talking about his “kasepiki” noise. If that man just understood that Moses Ssali and Bebe Cool are two different people. He’d be fine but even crayons and a drawing book may not cut it so let’s leave him alone,” said Ronnie.
“When someone’s thought process revolves around silly things like being the first artiste to be visited by a president, his wife coming back to him, a business class ticket and a $15,000 deposit on a video as bragging rights on social media. You immediately switch to the weather report. Their creator is surely watching them. People travel business or private every day, make $ 1, 000, 000 music videos and don’t find it wise or trendy to front that as a valid defense for saying or doing stupid things. Someone should throw fertilizer at some Ugandans. Maybe they’ll grow up. Pray for him,” he added.
We will keep you posted.
