Nigerian reggae-dancehall singer and songwriter, Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie aka Patoranking has declared Uganda’s Dr. Jose Chameleone a legend who can only be compared to the likes of 2Face.

The “Happy day” singer made the declaration while on a live Skype interview on NTV the Beat on Wednesday evening.

When Patoranking was asked to talk about his recent collabo with Chameleone, he was quick to send shout outs to Chameleone and declare him a legend; “Ohhhh Shout out to the Doctor himself. He is a legend, only compared to the likes of 2Face. I was listening to music and came across Wale Wale and (whoa!) I liked it straight up. I had to Google up Chameleone’s music. While at the Channel O awards I met Sheilah (Gashumba) and asked her to tell di doctor himself that I wanted to do something with him.”

“We connected on twitter, he sent me the beats from his Ugandan producer (Kayz) and I was pleased to have it. We made the song and it’s lovely to know Ugandan’s love it and here Nigerians love it too. We are to shoot the video in Mombasa on 20th with Chameleone and am ready for it!” He added.

The two musicians did a song together titled Only You recently.

We will keep you posted.
