Musician Bobi Wine’s wife, Kyagulanyi Barbie Itungo has praised her man for being the best actor in Uganda.
While commenting about his most recent movie, Situka, Barbie said that Bobi was born to act and his natural talent is undisputed. She also added that her husband is the true meaning of multi-talented.
“Your other life is on movie locations and Film. There’s that side of you the world doesn’t know yet. Spread your wings! Show them the true meaning of multi-talented,” Barbie said.
Barbie’s words of praise come days after the director of the movie called Bobi the best actor in Uganda. “Bobi Wine is very talented. He looked at the script on the day of the shoot and he did wonders as the movie went on. He is one of the best in Uganda,” director Bugingo said.
Directed by Fun Factory stars Hannington Bugingo and Kwezi Kaganda, the movie features Bobi Wine, Hellen Lukoma, Michael Wawuyo, Simon Kalema, and Frobisher Lwanga. Mustaque Abdullah is the director of photography.
Situka which premiered last weekend at National Theatre is based on day-to-day events in Uganda.
