Western Uganda’s finest singer Dorrys Mutahunga is all smiles after bagging a huge unspecified amount of money from the president, we have learnt.
The singer who excited the President through a folk song performance during the ADB4 project at Maryhil High school in Mbarara has since walked to the bank all smiles and further more booked a few state house performances with the President.
Dorrys was conducting anthems and hired to do the thank you song for President Museveni. After a series of performances President Museveni handed the singer an envelope which we have learnt contained money and further asked his secretary Nakalema to arrange an appointment for her to come to State house.
Being a folk pop singer, Dorrys has been able to win the heart of the president who happens to be a good keeper of culture and music at large.
Dorrys is said to be a frequent State house entertainer, a music educationist and business person.
