Mafikizolo’s Nhlanhla Nciza has joined a campaign to offer assistance to displaced victims of the xenophobic attacks. She took to social media to call on her fans to bring donations in form of food and clothing to support the displaced people following the unrest in South Africa.
“South Africa is in the South of Africa, my home. So these barbaric xenophobic attacks on our brothers and sisters are also attacks on me. I humbly ask that we assist our sister @leratomatsoso in helping 600 displaced families in Germiston by donating food , blankets and clothes (especially for the little ones). Please join us on Monday at 2pm @Park Meadows, Food Lovers Market, opposite Eastgate mall. To make donations please email leratomatsoso@gmail.com #FirstIAmAnAfrican #Ubuntu,” she posted on Instagram.
