Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic who also doubles as the Under-23 national team coach has vowed not to quit his job with the national team amidst media reports linking him to Sudan giants Al Hilal Omdurman.
The Serbian has continued to proclaim his loyalty to the nation team despite the fact that there are many clubs that want to take him on with Al Hilal announcing recently on their twitter handle that Micho is their new coach.
“You can’t stop people from talking. There are also two national teams chasing me as well, but I am still loyal to Uganda. I still have a dream with Uganda, and I believe I can take the country to the Nations Cup finals,” Micho told the New Vision.
He however remains very uncertain about the future of his career as the Cranes coach with his contract due to expire in less than two months. The federation has not come out to make any comments about extending the Serbian’s contract, but they communicated earlier this week that he is still under contract and will honour it.
“The technical aspect of my contract is not for me to decide. If things change, you will be the first to know,” Micho remarked.
