Jamaican singer, Mr.G a.k.a Goofy has called upon Ugandan rival artistes Bebe Cool and Bobi Wine to make up and start working together for the benefit of the Ugandan music industry. This came after Bebe cool accused Bobi Wine of paying Mr.G to do “Clean and out” with him.
“Bobi Wine is buying out international artistes to do collabos with him; because he currently has no top hits to sell him,” Bebe cool posted on his facebook timeline.
This did not go well with both Bobi Wine and Mr.G who reacted immediately.
Bobi Wine in retaliation posted, “The bad mind is making you age so fast.”
A facebook war ensued, it was not long before Bebe Cool’s wife―Zuena joined, quickly posting, “Some things just leave me laughing, Mbu, Bebe Cool said this and that about so and so…These fb pages are trying to sell by writing ill about my hubby, but they won’t manage because at the end of it all, God is in control.”
Bebe Cool even took the allegation beyond facebook by telling whoever cared to listen, that Bobi Wine paid a lot of money to do a song with Mr.G unlike him who did a song with DMX willingly.
In an attempt to clear the air, Mr.G himself joined the facebook war, posting, “It is very sad in my eyes to see this going on, My African brothers and sisters lets join together to make this unity amongst the two countries a success everywhere in the world, the song has already started hitting in Jamaica, Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, and Zimbabwe, let us be our brothers keeper, One Love until we meet again.”
Bebe Cool this morning, not to seem as a loser, posted insisting that he knows the truth but for the sake of his friendship with Mr.G he will cease fire and be silent about it. Thank God the bitter side gave in.
