Following new evidence that was tabled before Police two days ago against TV presenter Katongole who is accused of defiling a young girl, the embattled man has turned to the lord for divine intervention. News on our desks indicates that Katongole who was released on bond recently from Bweyogerere Police has begged Pastor Bugembe to pray for him and help him get out of this mess.
The TV presenter was seen by our snoops kneeling down before the man of God as he was prayed for and exorcised.
Bugembe, who did the same for Desire Luzinda when she was entangled in the nude photo saga couldn’t pay a blind eye to Katongole who is having the worst time of his life. He prayed for him in all kinds of prayers, including praying in tongues according to our sources.
Katongole allegedly defiled the girl and gave her 20,000 shillings to keep her mouth shut. Sources say that she couldn’t stomach the pain she experienced at the time of action with Katongole and confided in her elder brother, John Kakende. The furious Kakende who then confronted Katongole was given a bribe of 220,000 shillings which he refused and went to police and reported the crime and it’s recorded under file number CRB 017/2015. Katongole was detained at Bweyogerere police post before being released on bond. He jumped his bond days ago and Police is now on the hunt for him.
Katongole is married to TV and CBS presenter Titie Tabel Tendo.
