After the Uganda Cranes returned to their winning ways on Saturday when they beat Ghana at Namboole, Ndejje University chose to pursue the same achievement as they edged unbeaten Saints on Sunday.
Coming on the back of losing 2-0 to Kumi United at their home ground, Ndejje University fought off a second successive home defeat as they forced The Saints to a 1-0 loss in a highly competitive and tense game at the Ndejje University ground in Luwero.
Their first loss of the season has seen them (The Saints) drop to third place on the table with 15points which they had earlier gathered from 5 matches. Jinja Municipal are second on the table tied on 16points as the table leaders.
