Black Stars Jet In Ahead Of Tomorrow’s Clash With The Cranes

Uganda’s Group E opponents of Ghana are already in the country ahead of tomorrow’s clash at the Mandela National Stadium, Namboole on match day five of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers.

The Group E tables leaders are said to have jetted into the country today morning at around 5:30am on a private plane and were directly taken to Serena Hotel at the heart of Kampala where they took residence.

Uganda Cranes team is eager to prove a point after two successive losses to second placed Togo which relegated them to third position of the Group E log in which Guinea are bottom.

The visitors were at Namboole stadium this evening for a training session and also to get a feel of the stadium atmosphere as required by the FIFA rules.

The Ghanaian squad:

Goalkeepers: Fatau Dauda (Ash Gold), Adams Stephen (Aduana Stars) and Razak Braimah (Mirandes FC, Spain)

Defenders: Yaw Frimpong (TP Mazembe, DR Congo), Harrison Afful (Esperance FC, Tunisia), Awal Mohammed (Maritz burg, South Africa), Baba Rahman (FC Augsburg, Germany), Jeffery Schlupp (Leicester City, England), John Boye (Erciyesspor, Turkey), Kwabena Adusei (Mpumalanga Black Aces, South Africa) and Jonathan Mensah (Evian, France)

Midfielders: Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu (Udinese, Italy), Rabiu Mohammed (Krasnodar, Russia), Mubarak Wakaso (Celtic, Scotland), Atsu Christian (Everton, England), Asante Solomon (T.P. Mazembe, DR Congo), Gyimah Edwin (Mpumalanga Black Aces, South Africa), Afriyie Acquah (Parma FC, Italy) Andre Ayew (Olympique Marseille, France)

Strikers: Jordan Ayew (Lorient, France), Abdul-Majeed Waris(Trabzonspor, Turkey), David Accam (Helsenborg, Sweden), Emmanuel Osei Banahene, (Al Orobah, Saudi Arabia) and Asamoah Gyan.
