After an article was published by a Media house based in Kamwokya, asking the old Miss Uganda to let go of her tiara and allow the new Miss Uganda take on the mantle, she became so angry and decided to fight the writer of the story. Bizzu took to social Media and ranted.
In the article the write asks Phiona Bizzu, who was Miss Uganda 2012, to allow the new Miss Uganda, Leah Kalanguka, to take on her roles. “The latest was at the premiere of the Luzira movie, all dressed up in a shiny green dress while her counterpart, wore a less glamorous albeit beautiful, coffee brown gown. The bigger shinny crown saved Leah, one could have thought Bizzu was the reigning Miss Uganda,” read part of the article.
To this, Bizzu responded in anger on her Facebook page. She posted; “It is rather disappointing that a media house deemed respect worthy could publish such an irritable yet predictable article about me… My dear, for your information I earned that crown and will always be Miss Uganda 2012. So if wearing a symbol of my victory displeases you, honey deal with it… Because, my dear you clearly failed to understand the pageant world.”
Let Leah shine is all the writer was trying to say.
We shall keep you posted.
