Following a long 60-day voting marathon, Rising Star Awards finally awarded its winners of the first of its kind awards in Uganda appreciating rising stars; few prominent artists and most of the upcoming artists.
The ceremony attracted special and prominent musical and entertainment personalities like Isaiah Katumwa, Anita Fabiola, Rwamiti Miles among others. The show was held at La Bonita and hosted by MC Casmir.
The CEO of Rising Star Awards said, “This was a successful beginning for our Rising Artists and we encourage artists who are upcoming to be a part of this revolution in the music industry, we are working to include some dance crews, comedy and DJ categories for next year as well. We want to thank those who turned up to support us and we look forward to the next one soon. We want to congratulate the Rising Star Media & Limitless Production Team for working tirelessly to see that everything went well and for their never-ending efforts.
