Jose Chameleone’s son Alfa Mayanja who was recognized for his outstanding performance at school with a certificate for a play called “Patra’s Glass Slipper” late last year, has now taken on a new challenge. They say like father like son, and surely Chameleone’s son loves taking on new tasks just like his award winning father. Alfa Mayanja has now taken on competitive swimming.
He recently joined Seals swimming club. Seals which is the biggest children’s swimming club in Uganda is home to Uganda’s young swimming medallists like Katrina Ssangalyambogo,the princess of Buganda.
The Greenhill academy student joined in order to start participating in international swimming competitions and he is swift in the water according to his mother and Chameleone’s wife Daniela.
Abba currently trains at Kampala Parents swimming pool and hopes to take on the world like his dad. We will keep you posted.
