Four years after starting his hosting journey at a small bar opposite Acacia Mall, African Simba returns to the same neighbourhood with ILLICIT SATURDAYS at Vanquish Lounge.
Every big dream has a beginning. For African Simba, that beginning was on 22 July 2022 at Liquor Shades, a small bar opposite Acacia Mall in Kampala.
Starting from the ground up, he began building his name in the nightlife industry, working to turn his vision into reality. By October that year, he was promoting African Vibez Fridays and taking important steps towards establishing his brand.
Now, four years later, his journey brings him back to the same neighbourhood, this time to Vanquish Lounge’s rooftop at Acacia Mall.
The return begins with a soft launch on Saturday, 17 October 2026, followed by the official launch of ILLICIT SATURDAYS on Saturday, 24 October 2026.
For African Simba, this is more than a new nightlife concept. It is a full-circle moment — returning close to where his dream started, with more experience, bigger ambitions and another chapter to build.
His message is simple: “THE GAME CHANGER IS BACK.”
