Ugandan fashion designer Anita Beryl has tied the knot with financial consultant Richard Ekoot in a wedding ceremony held in Como, Italy.
The Italian wedding comes months after the couple celebrated their traditional Ankole marriage rites earlier this year, marking another milestone in their relationship.
In January, Beryl introduced Ekoot to her parents, Rev. Emmanuel Ahabwe and Jean Ahabwe, during a family ceremony at their home in Masheeruka, Sheema District.
Ekoot, a son of the late John Temel from Kumi District, also made headlines after surprising Beryl with a pink Range Rover, adding a special touch to their journey towards marriage.
The couple’s wedding in Italy marks the culmination of their celebrations, bringing together their traditional union and a ceremony in one of the country’s renowned destinations.
