Equity Bank Uganda has announced its participation in the Buganda BUMU North America Convention 2025, which will take place from May 23rd to 26th at the Omni Boston Hotel at the Seaport.
The bank is inviting Ugandans living in the diaspora to visit its stall during the event. Visitors will be able to open accounts easily, learn about investment opportunities, and get financial support tailored to their needs back home in Uganda.
The convention is an annual event that brings together Ugandans from across North America. It celebrates Buganda culture and provides a chance to network and explore ways to contribute to Uganda’s development. Equity Bank’s participation shows its commitment to helping Ugandans abroad stay financially connected to their home country.

At the Equity Bank stall, attendees will be able to open bank accounts on the spot, learn about investment and savings opportunities in Uganda, as well as get personalized advice on sending money home, buying property, and support for small businesses.
