Top emcee and TV presenter Viana Indi has revealed the most unforgettable event she has ever worked on, and surprisingly, it all traces back to her very first big break.

Speaking about the experience, Viana shared that the most unreal and superb event for her was the Tiwa Savage concert, where she was selected to represent NBS.

“I think that’s the Tiwa Savage show,” Viana recalled. “It was the first time I got on a big stage. Nobody knew me, and the reason I got that slot was because it was a female concert — they needed a female emcee, and I was chosen to represent NBS.”

At the time, Viana was also juggling school tours with Galaxy FM, and the day of the event came with major challenges. A heavy rainstorm and crazy traffic almost made her late for her 7:30 PM stage call.

“I left Mukono at 6 PM, and you know how crazy the traffic can get,” she said. “I didn’t have a car then, so I left with a few friends. They dropped me off in Munyonyo, and from there, I had to grab a Jaj (local motorcycle taxi) to get home.”

Even then, things weren’t smooth. The Jaj rider waited outside, giving her just five minutes to get ready. Meanwhile, the rain had soaked the top she was supposed to wear.

“My sister and I quickly ironed it right there, and I rushed out,” Viana added.
