In the vibrant heart of Kireka, along Kamuli Road, Sozo Property Consultants, in partnership with Sozo Furniture, has established itself as a go-to destination for high-quality used household and office furniture.
With a strong focus on sustainability, affordability, and style, Sozo is reshaping perceptions of second-hand furniture in Uganda—positioning it as a smart, stylish, and responsible choice for both residential and commercial spaces.
Since its founding in 2020, Sozo Property Consultants has built a solid reputation for offering a wide range of carefully curated, pre-owned furniture to suit diverse customer needs. Whether furnishing a cozy home or outfitting a modern office, Sozo delivers elegant and practical options without compromising on quality or affordability. Their showroom features a variety of items—from plush sofas and ergonomic chairs to desks, cabinets, and more—each piece selected with quality and durability in mind.
“At Sozo Property Consultants, we understand that a space should reflect both personal style and functional needs,” says Mr. Umaru Kaye, CEO and Proprietor. “Our mission is to provide affordable, high-quality furniture so that everyone, regardless of budget, can create a beautiful and comfortable environment.”
Globally, the demand for second-hand furniture has been on the rise—and Uganda is embracing the trend. Consumers are becoming more environmentally conscious, and the cost-saving benefits of purchasing pre-owned items are increasingly appealing. A recent report by the Uganda Bureau of Statistics shows that the second-hand furniture market has grown by over 30% in the past year, indicating a shift in consumer behavior.
Sozo is at the forefront of this movement. By choosing to shop second-hand, customers not only save money but also contribute to a more sustainable, circular economy.
Unlike common perceptions of used items, Sozo Furniture prides itself on the quality of its offerings. Every item undergoes a thorough inspection and, when necessary, is cleaned and refurbished before reaching the showroom. From elegant wooden desks to statement living room pieces, the emphasis on craftsmanship and care is evident throughout their collection.
“Customers are often amazed at the excellent condition of our furniture,” notes Mr. Kaye. “We work hard to source our inventory from trusted suppliers and ensure that every item is ready to serve a new purpose. It’s about giving furniture a second life—and giving customers unbeatable value.”
Sozo also provides tailored solutions for businesses seeking to furnish their offices without incurring excessive costs. From bulk deals to flexible payment options, they make it easy for corporate clients to create professional, well-designed workspaces on a budget.
“We know that office environments require specific setups and aesthetics,” adds Mr. Kaye. “That’s why we collaborate closely with our clients to find furniture that aligns with their vision, functionality, and financial plans.”
While the advantages of second-hand furniture are clear, customers are encouraged to shop with intention—evaluating items carefully and considering their specific needs. Sozo’s knowledgeable team is always available to offer guidance, ensuring a positive and informed shopping experience.
Sozo Property Consultants is more than a furniture outlet—it’s a movement toward mindful, stylish, and sustainable living. By offering affordable, high-quality used household and office furniture, Sozo empowers Ugandans to elevate their spaces without overspending or compromising on taste.
As demand for pre-owned furniture continues to rise, Sozo Furniture stands ready to lead the way—proving that great design, environmental responsibility, and value can go hand-in-hand.
