Customize Profiles for Personalized Viewing
Showmax allows you to create multiple viewing profiles within a single account. This allows everyone in your household to enjoy a personalized experience:
• Set up dedicated profiles for adults and children
• Keep recommendations relevant to each viewer’s preferences
• Ensure that kids only access age-appropriate content
By customizing profiles, you can ensure that everyone enjoys content tailored to their tastes without affecting others’ viewing experiences.
Create a Watchlist for Your Favorite Movies and Series
When browsing through Showmax’s extensive library, you’ll likely come across numerous titles you want to watch later. The “My Stuff” feature makes it easy to save these for future viewing:
1. Find a TV show or movie that catches your interest
2. Click on the “+ My Stuff” button
3. Your selection will be saved to your profile
4. When you’re ready to watch, simply scroll to the top of the page and click the “My Stuff” button
This convenient feature ensures you never lose track of content you want to watch, creating your personal entertainment queue.
Download for Offline Viewing
One of Showmax’s most practical features is the ability to download content for offline viewing. This is perfect for:
• Watching during travel when internet connectivity is limited
• Conserving data by downloading over Wi-Fi
• Ensuring uninterrupted viewing experience
Simply select the download option on your favorite episodes or movies, and they’ll be available to watch even without an internet connection.
Optimize Video Quality to Save Data
Streaming high-quality video can consume significant amounts of data. Showmax allows you to adjust video quality settings to match your data plan and viewing preferences:
• Adjust video quality settings within your Account to control data consumption per hour of streaming or enable the “Wi-Fi only” restriction option to prevent streaming over mobile data networks.
This feature allows you to optimize your viewing experience accordingly for when you’re on a limited data package or have unlimited internet access.
