Shakib Cham has opened up about his relationship with the children of his wife, Zari Hassan.
In a recent statement, he expressed that he shares a mutual respect with them.
“I’m a quiet person, but they respect me, and I respect them as well. They were raised right,” Shakib revealed during an interview on NRG Radio Uganda.
Zari Hassan, a well-known Ugandan-born socialite based in South Africa, is a mother of five.
She had three children with her first husband, the late Ivan Ssemwanga, and two with Tanzanian singer Diamond Platnumz.
Zari has been married three times. Her first marriage was with businessman Ivan Ssemwanga, who passed away.
After his death, she married Diamond Platnumz, but their relationship ended in 2018.
Following that, she took a break from relationships until 2023 when she found love again and married Shakib Cham.
Despite the complexities of blending families, Shakib’s words indicate a peaceful and respectful bond between him and Zari’s children.
