Tanzanian actress Wema Sepetu has shared her emotional journey of coming to terms with the reality that she may never have children.

The former beauty queen and celebrated digital creator revealed that her desire to become a mother has gradually faded over time, particularly after turning 35.
Wema recounted the heartbreaking belief that her late ex-boyfriend, actor Steven Kanumba, cursed her after she terminated two of his pregnancies.
She attributed her struggles with conception to what she sees as God’s will, a perspective that has helped her find peace over the years.

“For a long time, I tried and prayed for a child. But now, I’ve accepted that God decided otherwise. You cannot go against God’s will,” Wema said.
Despite the outpouring of love and encouragement from her fans, Wema revealed that she has stopped actively trying to conceive.
The actress also acknowledged that any potential husband would need to accept her for who she is, including her challenges with fertility.
“My husband must understand that this woman has a problem. You cannot claim to love someone and not accept their flaws,” she emphasised.
Although she has made peace with her situation, Wema admitted that it still hurts to think about never having a biological child of her own.
She expressed her enduring love for children and the longing she once had to spoil and cherish a child.
“Of course, it hurts. Sometimes I wish I could have my own child—someone I could carry, love, and spoil endlessly,” she shared.
