In a surprising turn of events, Ugandan singer Alien Skin has revealed that he has forgiven his rival Pallaso and his associates after their recent altercation.
The clash, which occurred earlier this month, resulted in significant property damage and captured widespread public and media attention.
Speaking to the press, Alien Skin explained his decision not to take legal action against Pallaso and his group.
“I chose not to report Pallaso and his group because I know they can’t afford to pay me. Some of them live on Salaama Road, and I even know their parents. If I report them, they could spend 10 years in Luzira Upper Prison—who will look after their families?” he said.
Alien Skin further added, “The things they destroyed only took me a year to acquire, and I can replace them. As a fellow lawbreaker, I can’t bring myself to incriminate them.”
The reconciliation between the two artists was facilitated by Captain Mike Mukula, Patron of the Uganda Musicians Association, who stepped in to mediate the feud.
Alien Skin and Pallaso, along with their respective groups, clashed in a heated confrontation earlier this month.
The incident caused significant damage and escalated tensions within the music industry.
However, Alien Skin’s decision to forgive has diffused the situation, setting an example of compassion and unity in the entertainment scene.
This development has sparked discussions on the role of reconciliation and forgiveness in resolving conflicts, especially among public figures with significant influence.
